P.A.K.E.M.A Resource Center for Learning

 

The P.A.K.E.M.A Mentorship Alliance officially opened the resource center for learning in Kisumu, Kenya this summer 2014. This center will also serve as our headquarter office in Africa as we expand our P.A.K.E.M.A Mentorship Program to other African countries. Besides being a center specifically for the active P.A.K.E.M.A Mentoring Club students, this is where our students will receive more information about the topics covered during the PMentorship & Health Education Curricula workshops.

 

Our resource center majorly serves as a meeting space for our students to continue working on community wellness projects assigned to them under the supervision and guidance of the facillitating PMentors. The center also serves as our training place for our volunteer PMentors and where to hold some of the important & educational seminars and After-School programs for the P.A.K.E.M.A Students etc.

 

The P.A.K.E.M.A Resource Center is more than an office as we will be also conducting Computer classes for our PMC students so that they can acquire the basic computer skills and beyond. We will as well continue expanding our library section furnished with the necessary PMentorship & Health Education curricula resources and building books for our students as well as Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Computer & ICT workshops among other related workshops that align with our goals.
